Bei Karlsruhe soll neben der bestehenden Rheinbrücke für den Autoverkehr eine zweite Brücke gebaut werden, obwohl es keinen tatsächlichen Bedarf gibt. Wird die Brücke gebaut, wird auch die Querspange zur B36 kommen und damit der erste Teil der Nordtangente. Das Stauproblem auf der Rheinbrücke würde das nicht lösen, sondern nur weiter in die Stadt verlagern. Nach aktuellem Stand soll das mindestens 266 Millionen Euro kosten. Bus und Bahn hingegen sind vor allem auf der Pfälzer Seite in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Es kann nicht sein, dass wir in Zeiten der Klimakrise immer weiter Autostraßen bauen.
